The Life Skills lab provides education like never before! Going beyond our wide imagination, we introduce the first lab in India that provides a homely environment, literally and figuratively both; A lab where we learn to live not just theoretically, but also practically, while practicing daily life skills.

We teach students to promote generosity, selflessness, sacrifice, love, kindness, and to find joy in altruistic acts of giving. As it’s said "A stitch in time saves nine", we have a sewing area, bedroom etiquettes and hygiene area, dressing table basics and importance of body hygiene, shoe polish area, we teach students how to cook food, with fireless and fire cooking, usage of different electrical appliances, how to use food items already present at home, and ways to replace unhealthy diet with a healthy one.

Making DIY money in lab and doing activity of shopping and selling are also part of this endeavour. We have fire and earthquake drills in school, with emergency and exit plan of school. We also aware students about the working and usage of a fire extinguisher. We have a kitchen garden where students are taught the essentials of gardening which they do themselves at home and send videos. This promotes the curiosity among students as they research about new technologies in agriculture. We also teach wellness and skincare to our students.

Life skills also include the skill we display in emergency situations.

Students do basic first aid such as – applying ointments, cleaning wounds, dressing, basic med recommendations etc. We also teach dining etiquettes and table manners, use of cutlery and cleaning utensils.

Students learn the technical terms and usage of all the equipments used in this lab for electrical, mechanical, wooden work and plumbing along with necessary precautions and safety measures. This prepares students to be self-dependent as they gain knowledge about how to deal a situation at home that demands repairing of any sort.
